Re: How to add predictors to intercept / slope as outcomes m
Thank you very much for your swift reply and your time!
This was exactly what I was looking for and yes my basis for comparison was indeed HLM.
I wish you a nice weekend,
Jake

How to add predictors to intercept / slope as outcomes model
Hello Forum members,
My question is theoretically very trivial but somehow I cannot realise it in MLwiN. Let´s assume I have a two-level model.
I have my constant as well as Level 1 predictors that are allowed to be random at Level 2. This results in the respective Level 2 equations of these ...

"Cases in use" in equations window
Dear Forum,
I would have another question regarding the meaning of the "cases in use" bracket in the lower right side of the equations window.
I am currently analysing data from a diary study where several predictors have been measured 3 times per day for five days accumulating to a total sample of ...

Re: How to create a product variable?
Thanks very much for your quick reply!
I read the chapter, however, this would include adding another level to the model for the selection variables there. I am trying to follow recommendations of another article and will try that first!
Thank you for your help, very kind!
Jake

Re: How to create a product variable?
Hi Chris,
Thank you very much for your reply, I just noticed!
My model is similar to a multivariate model where I basically have two models in one. Let´s say, I have two DV's and different IV's for each but want to estimate both together in one model. The dummies (or selection variables) serve the ...

How to create a product variable?
Dear Forum,
I am currently trying to model a moderated multilevel mediation model with MLwiN.
For this purpose I am using selection variables (dummies coded 1,0) similar to the multivariate chapter in the 2012 MLwiN manual.
Now, this selection variable needs to be multiplied with each explanatory ...
