Multilevel multinomial logistic model with survey weights
Hello,
I am running a two-level (multilevel) multinomial (3 categories for the response) logistic regression model using runmlwin in STATA. I tried the models for both second order penalised quasi-likelihood linearization and MCMC which ran correctly without the survey weights as below:

Re: global path
Hi Olly,
I had similar problem and same error message when I tried declaring the global MLwiN path for the first time on my computer due to wrong specification of my Mlwin path.
So in my second attempt, I open my drive C where my program files are, then open program files and located Mlwin, I then ...

Computing Level 2 residuals manually
Dear All,
I have fitted 2 level multivariate multilevel model using runmlwin.
I used the output to compute the level 1 residual manually instead of using the automated residual generation command in runmlwin so I can include only significant covariates:
Residual level1 = y-(b0+0*age-0.43*female ...

Hi ChrisCharlton,
Yes, I did understand earlier that your concern was about the guarantee that the site address will work for me and I am glad it did work out.
Thank you so much for this.

Installing winbugs from stata (winbugsfromstata)
Hi All,
I have had a good time running my models successfully in winbugs with some of the necessary diagnostic checks done.
However, I wish to run the winbugs model from stata so I can save the chains in stata for further analysis which are not possible in winbugs yet.
As a result, I need to ...

Hi George,
I am back just to inform you that I am smoothly running the models in WinBugs now with success based on your earlier suggestion.
Many thanks and I am very grateful for this.
Cheers.
