Hello,
I hope someone can help, when I select any variable in occasion ID in unsplit records in version 2.27 of MlWin it crashes. I didn't have this problem with version 2.25. I have lots of variables so I am keen to use unsplit records rather than UNVEct, any idea what I can do to get around this ...

reporting model fit in multilevel models for binary response
Hi,
I have a simple 2 level model for predicting a binary response, and I am using the second order PQL estimation method. Can anyone help me work out what I should be calculating and reporting in the paper/report about how good the model fit is? I have read all of the MLwiN manuals but can only ...

predint.txt problems
Hi,
I am running a cross classified 4 level model with a binary outcome using MCMC. I want to plot the regression lines it produces, plus the 95% confidence interval of that line. It has a random intercept at every level but no random slope. I am following the instructions in chapter 6 of the MCMC ...

one-tailed test for a predictor in MCMC
This may be a naive question as I am not a statistician. I am doing an MCMC analysis to determine whether a variable (intervention or control group) is a significant predictor of a binary outcome. I can add this variable as a predictor in the MCMC model and see if there is any improvement to the DIC ...

runtime error 9 when deselecting exclusion criteria
I have used the exclusion criteria tool in the hierarchy viewer to look at a subset of my data, now i would like to turn it back off. However when i deselect it and click OK I get "runtime error 9 subscript out of range" and MLwiN crashes. When i restart the exclusion criteria is still on, so i can ...
