But I still have the problem described in the latter part, when I allowed level 1 variables to vary across schools. (i.e. var-cov matrix values tend to zero, does it mean the random effect is not significant?)

Imputation model
When I click on view equations in REALCOM IMPUTE, 3 equations (I impute only one variable) appeared. How can these equations are described? When I view results coefficients of estimates appear. There two alpha values are given. (alpha)3,1 and (alpha)4,1 What are these values?
