Re: Possible bug in R2MLwiN
Hi - many thanks for highlighting this. It appears to occur whenever an interaction is specified in the R2MLwiN formula (as variable1:variable2) - R2MLwiN places this at the end of the list of predictors as modelled in MLwiN, regardless of where it was specified in the original formula, but then doe...

Re: R2MLwiN of mixture models
Hi Manuel,
Thanks for alerting us to this; on further investigation it appears that a bug in the R2MLwiN package is responsible for this problem, so we'll look into possible solutions and get back to you.
Best wishes,
Richard

Re: R2MLwiN: issues specifying formula for a categorical var
Hi Maxim, Thanks for raising this issue. You're right: due to the manner in which MLwiN handles dummy variables, there can be issues when fitting a model (via R2MLwiN) with a categorical predictor in the fixed and random part of a model, and so I'm afraid a workaround is needed. To this end, R2MLwiN...

Re: ML multiple imputation
Hi again, Further to my last post, we've just uploaded some additional templates on our Stat-JR downloads page (http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cmm/software/statjr/downloads/); the files in the "further multivariate normal and mixed response models" folder, in particular, might be of interest to ...

Re: ML multiple imputation
Hi Shane, Thanks for your query; we have been developing a template, and eBook, to conduct multiple imputation for 2-level models in Stat-JR; we aim to make this available early in the new year - we'll post a link on this forum, and in a news item on the CMM home page, as soon as it's available. Bes...
