MLwiN for Ego-centric network analysis: MMMC model

Post by lydinh92 »

Hi MLwiN users!
I am currently trying to run my models using MLwiN for my network data, but there is something wrong. I have managed to get my SPSS file in correctly, but somehow as I try to create a model, it displays (0 of 0 cases in use). Thus, it does not recognize the 1104 cases that I have, in which cases represent dyadic ties between ego and alter.

Could you help me with this?
Thank you very much!

MLwiN will display 0 of 0 cases in use until the model has been fully set up (i.e. it has a response, at least one level defined and at least one explanatory variable in the fixed and random parts). Is it possible that you are missing one of these? If this isn't the case then it is worth examining the Names window to ensure that the file contents match what you expect.
