Error message: No version information foundr(198)

Post by Aknigge »

Dear all,

After the second pause, instead of printing the results I get an error message in stata reading:
"No version information foundr(198);"
Does anybody have an idea what the cause of the error is?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Antonie

Are you telling runmlwin where to find mlwin.exe via the mlwinpath option, or via the $MLwiN_path global? I think that there is currently a bug where it is always expecting to find it in $MLwiN_path while displaying the results. We will fix this in a later version, but in the mean time the workaround is to use $MLwiN_path to store this information.

This bug is now fixed.

To get the latest version of runmlwin, type the following in a net-aware version of Stata:

. adoupdate runmlwin

Best wishes
