Modelling Count Data (example do-file) - mismatch error

Post by leap »

I have tried to run the tutorial do-file on count data "12 Modelling Count Data.do" but stata gives me the following error message when I try to run the first model:
type mismatch
r(109);
Any suggestions?

I have just tried this example here and it appears to work fine for me. Could you check that your version of Stata and runmlwin are up to date? If you still have problems could you run the command:

Code: Select all

set trace on
before running the example and then post the output just before the error occurs?

Could you also try some of the other examples to see if your problem is specific to count data?
