Estimating a cross-level interaction in MLwiN with runmlwin from within STATA?

Post by rsmith284 »

Dear all, I am looking for an option to estimate a cross-level interaction (between Level1 and Level2) in MLwiN with runmlwin from within STATA (using runmlwin available from ssc instal runmlwin)? Any hints would be greatly appreciated! Best

To do this you just need to create the interactions as you would if the variables were at the same level. For more information about cross-level interactions in MLwiN see section 5.4.2 of the MLwiN practical in the LEMMA course (see https://www.cmm.bris.ac.uk/lemma/).
