Questions with Realcom Impute

Post by CMM »

I am working through the example and also some data of my own and have two questions:

1) How can you tell that the impute process is complete? Does the final text show iteration time and then:
responses imputed at iteration after burn in 100
responses imputed at iteration after burn in 200
responses imputed at iteration after burn in 300
responses imputed at iteration after burn in 400
responses imputed at iteration after burn in 500

2) When you retrieve the imputation in MLwiN and then click Start Analysis should the model parameters still go green as they do in MLwiN when the model has converged? My model parameters are blue and nothing is happening but I am unclear if the model has converged or not.

Any answers would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Laura

1) If you watch the text screen that runs alongside Realcom-Impute you will
see that messages appear regarding the current state of the model run. This
should include the current iteration, and the estimates when the model has
finished running.

2) The estimates do not turn green when the imputation analysis is run. The
model for each individual imputed data set is run until it converges, or
100 iterations have taken place
