Winbugs installation

Post by simonederzi »

Hello,

I'm pretty new here, not sure even where I should ask this. How do I install winbugs? The website WinBUGS - MRC Biostatistics Unit doesn't work. Please help. Thanks!

You can try using OpenBUGS, a legacy open source solution to WinBUGStunnel rush

Installing WinBUGS can be a bit tricky, especially if the official website is inaccessible. However, there are alternative ways to obtain and install WinBUGS.

One option is to search for WinBUGS on academic or research repository websites where you may find downloadable installation files. Another option is to use Bayesian software packages like JAGS or Stan, which offer similar functionality to WinBUGS and are often easier to install and use.
