REALCOM-IMPUT install problem

Post by baiyulaohu »

Dear colleagues,

I am trying to use REALCOM-IMPUT to do MI for multilevel data. here is the problem,

Problem:
Error message “mclmcrrt710.dll cannot be found” when trying to open “mixed_responses.exe”

System information:
Win 7 64 bit; MATLAB R2012a (latest version); MATLAB Component Runtime (MCR) 7.17
REALCOM-impute (msi, 4.3 mb, updated 19-06-12)

Q:
I saw one colleagues had met the same problem, who also posted his concerns in this BBS.

I am not sure but it seems that current version of REALCOM is constructed under/for MATLAB R2009b/MCR 7.10. In my folder (E:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Compiler Runtime\v717\runtime\win64), there is one file named "mclmcrrt7_17.dll" instead of "mclmcrrt710.dll". I am wondering whether this error message indicates the incompatibility between current REALCOM-IMPUTE and the latest version of MATLAB (7.17).

If so, however, it is no way to get MCR 7.10. See, http://www.mathworks.ch/matlabcentral/n ... ead/249680

How can I fix this issue, “mclmcrrt710.dll cannot be found”?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

In order to use Realcom-Impute you need to first install the Matlab runtime that matches the version that it was compiled with (currently 2009a). You can obtain this by following the instructions given in http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cmm/software/realcom/#matlab.

thank you very much for your quick reply.

I did send email to 'info-cmm@bristol.ac.uk' with my registration information several days ago. I also received the email frOm MATLAB this morning about "exclusive assess to MATLAB". Am I supposed to receive another email from 'info-cmm@bristol.ac.uk' to obtain the matched version of MCR?

thanks again,

Yu
