unique variance

Post by GiuliaRamp »

Hello,

I have a question about multilevel analysis, which I am learning to do with mlwin.

Would it allow me to see the unique variance associated with each index?

Thank you very much

Best regards,

Giulia

The covariance at each level can be found on the equations window. If you are after the variance for each of the units at a level you can obtain this through the model->residuals menu. You may also find module 5 of our on-line course (https://www.cmm.bris.ac.uk/lemma/) helpful as this gives an introduction to multilevel models with examples in MLwiN.
