zero inflated poisson/underdispersed data

Post by dbutler13 »

Hi,

I am fitting a 2 level poisson model where my data are underdispersed (mean>variance).
Is there an option or way to account for this using runmlwin or within MLwin directly?

Thanks
Danielle

You should be able to specify this by adding the extra option, in the same way as for extra-binomial variation (see the -runmlwin- help). I notice that this isn't mentioned as working for Poisson in the current documentation, so I will look into updating this for a later release.
