Using Arcsine

Post by athalie27 »

Is anyone able to help with the transformation arcsine. I have set my Y variable (predictor) to Arscin within my model. The constant then of course reports the data in radians and I am continued to add significant variables to my model using the all normal criteria. The issue is when transforming this values back to meaning values. E.g from radians back to percentages. How do I calculate this. My min value for Arscin is 0 and max is 1.57.. When I try and use a reverse arscine calculation in excel it gives percentages which are alot higher than expected. Can anyone advise what I maybe doing wrong or if I can convert the value in radians back in some other way in excel?
