Hi!
I am quite a new user of MLwiN, thus I apologize in advance for my very basic questions.
I am struggling to find out how to perform a simple slopes analyses to probe a 3-way cross-levels interaction. Is there any way to do this in MLwiN?
Moreover, I read that fixed parameters from the variance covariance matrix are stored in c1099 in MLwiN but I cannot find a way to extract them as a matrix. Do you have any clue?

I am a bit confused by your questions. and I would not regard 3 way cross - level interactions as simple!

The variances are stored iand there are many ways of getting at them.

and I suggest that you get into this type of modelling by working your way through Lemma module 5

Thank you for your help and suggestion.
I think I wasnt' able to make myself clear, surely a 3-way cross-levels interaction is not simple at all! I just wanted to find a way to truly understand my interaction and interpret it. This is something that I used to do in regressions by testing the simple slopes and I wasn't able to implement in MlWin, but I probably find a way by manipulating the variables coding (thus changing the reference category) and then looking at the 2-way interaction terms.
I will surely go through the LEMMA module you suggested, thanks!!
