Comparing logistic multilevel models

Post by filipvand »

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to find my way through multilevel logistic regression. Does anybody know how models are usually compared when using multilevel logistic regression? Is there a AIC, BIC statistic available through MLWIN or a way how to calculate them? Any suggestions are very much appreciated!

kind regards,
Filip

If you're using (R)IGLS you can use a Wald test, as described in the MLwiN manual http://www.bristol.ac.uk/cmm/software/m ... man-09.pdf. For MCMC estimation you can compare the DIC statistics.
