Variance Inflation Factors (VIFs)

Post by mdehsdk4 »

Hello

Is there a way to calculate Variance Inflation Factors for a 2 level model in MLwiN?

Thanks

I am not a statistician but what I know is that there is no way to compute VIF in MLwiN. I think VIF doesn't vary whether you fit one level model or two level model, it simply shows the relationship between independent variables. So I what I do is just simply put all independent variables in a simple linear regression model in stata and it gets me VIF in the end. you need to use "vif" command.
