Type III test of fixed effects

Is there any test that I can use for testing whether there is a relationship between a categorical variable, say five-year age groups as a whole and a continuous BMI using MLwin? Is Type III test of fixed effects available in MLwin? Many thanks for your help.

You can test a set of fixed effects simultaneously by a simultaneous Wald test that produces an overall chi-square test. It is illustrated in the Chapter on significant testing in MLwin. See Chapter 6 of
