negative binomial error message

I am trying to run a negative binomial regression analysis on data imported from spss. I get an error message "error while obeying batch file C:\Program Fikles\MLwiNv2.16\discrete\ bvar at line number 12: negative binomial - constrain first var in group wrong keyword".
Any ideas what I am doing wrong, please?

Could you please try the following?:

Open the file C:\Program Files\MLwiN\v2.16\discrete\bvar in a text editor

change the line:

case 2 : negative binomial - constrain first var in group

to

case 2 : note negative binomial - constrain first var in group

save the file and see if your model now gets any further.
